About

Mycelium is the vegetative part of a fungus or fungus-like bacterial colony, consisting of a mass of different branches.

When two compatible single or mono mycelia join and form a dyadic mycelium, fruiting bodies such as mushrooms are formed. A mycelium may form a colony that is too small to see or may grow to span thousands of acres.

Through the mycelium, those bodies absorb from its environment.

Mycelia are vital in the organic fraction of soil and their growth releases needed chemicals back into the atmosphere and helps other plants resist pathogens.

Mycelium is also an important food source for many soil invertebrates.

Mycelial Networks of fungi exist everywhere and have been called the Earth’s Natural Internet or Information Highway.

At this moment in our history the exchange of information through various networks is critical especially with based on our knowledge of the existence of misinformation and distraction campaigns being used to create false and misleading narratives about the reality of the human experience.

That said, the Shroom Garden Mycelial Blog Network is a project dedicated to insuring that critical information continues to be shared in a valid and reliable manner to people all over the world and that people all over the world have an avenue to lift their voices and offer their objections to what the see is wrong in the world and their solutions relative to the change they seek as global citizens.

Just like mycelial colonies, the Shroom Garden Network encourages people to connect with other single nodes to form communities that will create or bring to fruition objective activities and colonies of people participating in the activities they feel are necessary.

The Network Staff and Contributors also seek out and absorb valid information from various communities with the same mission and message to bring to its Members.

The Network’s mission is not only to receive and share information but to use the blog space to break down messages through analysis of evidence, opinion and theory in order to see how society has fractured and what might help us heal and serve as a source of food for our individual souls and for the souls of our nations.
